Biography:

Dr. Indranath Chatterjee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer and Mathematics at Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. He holds significant international academic appointments as an Adjunct Professor at Woxsen University, India, and Chitkara University, India, and serves as a Collaborating Faculty member at the International Center for Neuroscience Research (ICNR), Georgia. Additionally, he is the Director of International Collaborations for The Korea Multimedia Society (KMMS), South Korea.

Prior to his current position, Dr. Chatterjee gained valuable international experience as an Assistant Professor at Tongmyong University, Busan, South Korea, and JK Lakshmipat University, India. He earned his Ph.D. in Computational Neuroscience from the University of Delhi, India.

Dr. Chatterjee’s research expertise lies at the intersection of Computational Neuroscience, Schizophrenia, Medical Imaging (particularly fMRI), and Machine Learning. He is a prolific author, having authored and edited 12 books on Computer Science and Neuroscience published by leading international publishers, alongside numerous high-impact research papers in international journals and conferences. His contributions have been recognized through various prestigious global awards in neuroscience.

An esteemed speaker, Dr. Chatterjee has delivered over 28 keynote and plenary addresses at international conferences and seminars worldwide. He holds significant editorial responsibilities, serving as Chief Section Editor for several renowned international journals and as a member of the Advisory and Editorial boards for numerous journals and Open-Science organizations globally.

Actively engaged in impactful research, he currently leads or co-leads several government and non-government projects focused on medical imaging and machine learning for societal benefit, collaborating with universities across the world. Dr. Chatterjee is also a dedicated member of numerous prestigious international professional bodies, including the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), Organization for Human Brain Mapping (OHBM), Federations of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS), and the International Neuroinformatics Coordinating Facility (INCF), among others. His work is characterized by a strong commitment to international collaboration and advancing neuroscience on a global scale.
